HABIGANJ, Feb 24, 2024 (BSS) - A woman was killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Titarkona area under Bahubal upazila of the district today.
    

The deceased was identified as Baharful Nacha, 40, wife of Taiyab Ali, resident of West Rup Shankar village of the upazila.

The accident occurred when she was going to Shaistaganj area on a CNG-run auto rickshaw. As the driver lost control, the vehicle overturned in the area around 12:30pm, leaving her seriously injured, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shaistaganj Highway Police Station Badrul Kabir said.

Locals rescued her to Bahubal Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared her dead, OC said.
