CHUADANGA, March 9, 2024 (BSS) - The Boader Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive held a man with 10 gold bars from Nastipur frontier village under Darshana police station here yesterday.

The detainee was identified as Mamun Mondol, 28, hailed from Jhajhadanga village under Darshana Thana. 

BGB sources said, acting on an information, a team of 6th battalion of the BGB held a motorcyclist in Nastipur border at around 3:45 pm yesterday. After searching his body, the BGB men found the gold bars.

A case was filed in this regard with Darshana Thana. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Darshana Thana Biplob Kumar Saha confirmed the matter.
