NARAIL, March 28, 2024 (BSS) - A total of thirty local breed goats were distributed free of cost among poor women in Sadar upazila here today.

Narail Municipality Mayor Anjuman Ara handed over the goats among the helpless people at a function held at the Hallroom of Narail Digital Library as the chief guest this morning with Saiful Islam Tuhin, executive director of non-government organization Nabanna in the chair.

Non government organization Nabanna is being implemented the project in collaboration with NGO Foundation of the district.

Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Md. Roknuzzaman, Press Club General Secretary Mirza Nazrul Islam, among others, were present on the occasion.
