RAJSHAHI, March 30, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have 
arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 985 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets 
in the district early today. 
 
The arrested were identified as Sanwar Hossain Manna, 27, son of Rafiqul 
Islam of Guripara area, and Rassel Hossain, 26, son of Azahar Ali, both under 
Rajpara Police Station in Rajshahi metropolis, said the RAB sources here this 
afternoon.
 
Being informed, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Aliganj area 
under the same police station and nabbed the duo with the contraband drugs 
around 11.45 pm, the RAB sources added. 
 
A case was recorded with Rajpara Police Station in this connection and the 
arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to the police.
