KHULNA, April 7, 2024 (BSS) - The holy Shab-e-Qadr, the most blessed night for Muslims in the month of Ramadan, was observed on Saturday night in the city and district with due religious fervor and solemnity.
Muslim devotees passed the night in the city's different mosques, offering special prayers, reciting from the Holy Quran, holding doa mahfil, zikir, and other religious activities, seeking the blessings of the Almighty Allah for peace and progress for themselves, their families, relatives, friends as well as the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
Religious discussions were held at mosques throughout the night and food, sweets, and money were distributed among the poor and destitute.
A huge number of devotees also visited the nearest graveyards in the city and district and prayed for peace for the departed souls of their near and dear ones.
