PANCHAGARH, April 18, 2024 (BSS) - Livestock Services Week and Exhibition was inaugurated at Kaliganj Sukatu Prodhan High School ground in Debiganj upazila of the district today. 

Debiganj upazila Livestock Department arranged the exhibition programme under the Livestock Department and Livestock Dairy Development Project of the Livestock Ministry. 

The livestock department is working to ensure safe, adequate and quality protein demand for all.  

Upazila chairman Abdul Malek Chistee addressed the function as the chief guest. It was addressed, among others, by livestock officer Dr Saraban Tohura, social welfare officer Golam Azom, fisheries officer Raton Kumar Barman, Dandapal UP chairman Azgor Ali.
 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Sariful Alam presided over the function. Livestock extension officer Dr Newaz Sharif conducted the programme.
 

The week will continue till April 22. A total of 37 dairymen took part in the exhibition.
