NATORE, April 22, 2024 (BSS) - A women's gathering and view exchange meeting was held at Dighapatia Union Parishad hall room in Sadar upazila of the district today under the initiative of the District Information Office for Building Smart Bangladesh.

The gathering and view exchange meeting was held under the Prime Minister's 10 Special Initiatives Branding and Smart Bangladesh and Vision-2041 as part of the Marginal Level Development Promotion Scheme and aimed at increasing public participation.

Various issues including eradication of drugs, terrorism and militancy and prevention of dowry and child marriage were discussed and exchanged in the gathering and view exchange meeting.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Azhtar Jahan Sathi addressed the function as the chief guest with District Information Officer Md A Awal in the chair.

Later, documentary films related to the development of the country were screened.
