MYMENSINGH, April 27, 2024 (BSS) - Two persons, including a woman, were killed and four others injured as a bus collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Alalpur area of Sadar upazila this morning.
 
Police with the help of local people rescued the injured persons and sent them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH).
 
However, the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
 
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station Main Uddin confirmed the incident to BSS saying that, "A Nalitabari-bound bus collided head-on with a Mymensingh-bound CNG-run auto rickshaw in Alalpur of Mymensingh Sadar upazila around 11 am. The victims died on the spot. The injured were taken to MMCH for treatment."
 
"Police seized the vehicles. Necessary legal proceedings, regarding the incident, are underway," he added.
