CHATTOGRAM, May 14, 2024 (BSS) – A Chattogram court today sentenced three muggers to life imprisonment in a case filed over killing a CNG autorickshaw driver
and snatching his vehicle in 2007.

Judge Md Kamal Hossain Sikdar of Chattogram Metro Session Judge court-1 passed the order, also fined them Taka one lakh each.

The convicts are Suman Das, Suman alias Hridoy Suman and Alamgir Hossain alias Mikel.

Among them, Suman Das and Suman alias Hridoy Suman were present during the pronouncement of the judgement. The other convict Mikel is yet to be arrested.

According to the case documents, the convicts on September 29, 2007, killed CNG autorickshaw driver Moinuddin and left his dead body beside Port colony area in city’s Agrabad commercial area on that night. The killers then drive away with his vehicle.
