RAJSHAHI, May 19, 2024 (BSS)-A daylong conference of Swadhinota Chikitsak Parishad (swachip) of Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Natore and Naogaon districts was held here today with the call for reaching healthcare facilities to the public in general.  

Rajshahi district and Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) units of the SWACHIP jointly organized the conference at the RMC auditorium.

In the morning, President of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Dr Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin and Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton formally inaugurated the conference by hoisting national and organizational flags and releasing balloons and festoons.

SWACHIP President Dr Jamal Uddin Chowdhury addressed the conference as focal person with local unit president Dr Chinmoy Kanti Das in the chair.

SWACHIP Secretary General Dr Kamrul Hassan Milon, Dr Mostofa Alam, MP, Dr Abdul Aziz, MP, Dr Siddiqur Rahman Patwary, MP, Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, MP and Dr Abu Saleh Muhammad Nazmul Haque, MP, also spoke.

Addressing the conference, Dr Mostofa Jalal Mohiuddin said that the development progress of the country has been continuing vibrantly with prudent and farsighted leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said the adverse impact of Covid-19 pandemic has been tackled competently with dynamic leadership of the premier.

"Our country will not lose its way until it remains in the hands of Sheikh Hasina," he added.

In his remarks, Mayor Liton, also a presidium member of Awami League, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been running the country successfully and all the patriotic people should support the development activities whole-heatedly to take the country forward.
