LALMONIRHAT, May 30, 2024 (BSS) - A female student was crushed under the wheels of a train at Tushbhander Adarshapara area under ??Kaliganj upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Aysha Siddika Akhi, 18, daughter of Alamgir Hossain, resident of Tushbhander Adarshapara area of Kaliganj upazila. She was a student of Kaliganj K U P High School of the area.

In-charge of Lalmonirhat Railway Police Station assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Aminul Islam said, she died on the spot after being crushed under the wheels of Parbatipur local train from Burimari, while she was crossing the rail line around 1pm this afternoon.
