RAJSHAHI, June 28, 2021 (BSS) - Police arrested three alleged criminals with a foreign made pistol from Sagarpara area under Boalia Police Station in the city today.

Police said the arrested persons were identified as Selim Murshed, 40, son of Mahatab Ali, Rana Hossain, 32, son of Jamal Uddin and Pitar Hossain, 28, son of Rabiul Islam.

On a tip-off, a police team conducted a sudden raid in the area and arrested them with the firearm red-handed this noon.

Nibaran Chandra Barman, Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Model Police Station, said the arrested persons were involved in various criminal activities in different areas in the city for long times.
 
A case was recorded with the police station in this connection.
