TUNGIPARA, June 23, 2024 (BSS) - Gopalganj district unit Awami League paid
their tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at
Tungipara on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami
League.

District unit AL led by Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Faruk Khan placed
a wreath at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman here in
Tungipara this morning. Placing the wreath they stood in solemn silence for
sometime as a mark of respect for the memory of Bangabandhu who was the
central character of Bangladesh Awami League that united Bengali people
against Pakistani forces.

Later, leaders of Gopalganj district AL offered Sura Fateha and took part a
munajat there seeking blessings of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and his
family members murdered in 1975.
