NARAIL, June 29, 2024 (BSS) - A van driver was killed as a truck crushed into his van on Narail-Jashore Highway in the early hours of today.

The deceased was identified as Sumon Sheikh, 38, hailed from Bagherpara upazila in Jashore district.

Police said the accident occurred around 5:30 am in Durbajuri area in Sadar upazila on the Highway. Sumon Sheikh died on the spot.

Sub Inspector Monir Hossain of Tularampur Highway police camp confirmed it. The body was sent to Narail Sadar Hospital morgue.
