BOGURA, June 28, 2021 (BSS) - A total of 127 more people were reported positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the district after testing 504 samples at Bogura TMSS Medical College Hospital COVID-19 PCR laboratory, Mohammad Ali Hospital COVID-19 PCR laboratory and rapid antigen and Genexpert testing centers.
 
   Of the new positive cases, 79 are in Sadar upazila, 12 in Adamdighi upazila, eight in Gabtali upazila, six in Shibganj upazila, eight in Shajahanpur upazila, four in Dhunat upazila, one in Kahaloo upazila, one in Dhupchanchia upazila and eight in Nandigram upazila of the district.
 
   The infection rate is about 25.02 percent in the district, said deputy civil surgeon of the district Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin.
 
    The total number of infected persons in the district stood at 13,560 and the number of recovery cases stood at 12,492, deputy civil surgeon of the district Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin, told BSS.
 
   Meanwhile, four people have died with coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours in the district, the deputy civil surgeon said.
 
   A total of 377 persons have so far died of COVID-19 in the district, he added.
 
   The health expert urged all to follow the health rules strictly and use masks to prevent the spread of the lethal virus.
 
   He urged everyone to be more aware to prevent this lethal infection.
