CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 2, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 305 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl from Gomastapur upazila of the district last night.
 
The arrested person was Md. Shahin, 20, a resident of Sudhur Adda (Andhaber More) under Domar upazila in Nilphamari district.
 
On a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Sukrabari Goriabazar area under Chowdala union of the upazila around 9.30 pm and arrested the Shahin with the phensidyl, a RAB official said.
 
Later, RAB handed him over to the police of Gomostapur Police Station.
