PANCHAGARH, Aug 2, 2024 (BSS) - School students got 220 new by-cycles in Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district here today.

Upazila administration arranged the distribution function at upazila parishad hall room.

Local lawmaker Md Nurul Islam Sujon attended the programme and distributed the by-cycles among 220 students as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the present government is doing possible everything for education. Students from remote areas could easily reach their respective schools by riding the by-cycles, he added.

The students became cheerful after getting the new by-cycles.

Upazila chairman Madan Kumar, upazila Awami League President Gias Uddin Chowdhury and Upazila Engineer Md Sakil, among others, spoke on the occasion.

Upazila nirbahi officer Md Sariful Islam presided over the function. Students and their guardians, teachers' and local Awami League leaders and workers were present.
