NARAIL, Aug 9, 2024 (BSS) - A woman was killed in bike accident on the Narail-Jashore road in the Narail municipal area of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Ayesha Sultana, 23, resident of Bagherpara upazila of Jashore district.

The accident occurred in the area when she was going to Chanchra area of ??Tularampur union in Narail riding a motorbike. On the way, she died on the spot when a passenger bus hit her and fell on the road from the motorbike around 8pm, officer-in-charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Police Station Mohammad Saiful Islam said.

Police recovered the body from the spot, OC said.

The body was handed over to her family members, the OC added.
