CHATTOGRAM, Aug 16, 2024 (BSS) - A milad mahfil was held at Odudadia Jamia Mosque at Hathazari upazila here today marking the 80th birth anniversary of former prime minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Hathazari upazila arranged the milad mahfil. A large number of people from all walks of life including BNP and its leaders and workers joined Milad and Doa Mahfil.

Barrister Mir Helal, Central Joint Organizing Secretary of BNP, leaders of Hathazari upazila BNP attended the mahfil.

The Milad Mahfil was followed by a special prayer seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah for early recovery and long life of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, eternal peace and salvation of departed souls of Shaheed president Ziaur Rahman and all the martyrs killed in the recent anti-discrimination student movement.
