JAMALPUR, August 20, 2024(BSS)-The 25th death anniversary of former secretary general of BNP Barrister Abdus Salam Talukdar was observed in the district today.

In the morning, leaders of BNP and its front and associate organizations paid homage by placing floral wreath at his graveyard at Sarishabari Upazila of the district to mark the day.

President of district BNP Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim along with its leaders and workers placed wreath at the graveyard.

They offered Fateha and Doya for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Barrister Abdus Salam Talukdar also the former minister for Local Government and Rural Development.

Senior Joint Secretary of District BNP Shahidur Rahman Dulal, its Organising Secretary Lokman Ahmmed Khan and general secretary district Mohila Dal Saida Begum Shyama were present, among others at that time.
