RANGPUR, Oct 3, 2021 (BSS) - A total of 45,643 more citizens were

inoculated with the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in all eight districts
of Rangpur division today (Sunday).

   "Among the 45,643 vaccinated citizens, 30,697 were inoculated with
Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 14,946 citizens with AstraZeneca Covid-19
vaccine today," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Motaharul Islam told BSS
at 6:40 pm.

   "With the inoculation of 45,643 citizens with the first dose of the Covid-
19 vaccine today, the total number of the first dose recipients rose to
38,68,159 in all eight districts of the division.

   Among the first dose recipient 38,68,159 citizens, 11,46,385 people were
vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 25,44,473 people with Sinopharm
Covid-19 jab and 1,31,849 others with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine in the
division.

   Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine recipient
citizens rose to 17,13,403 with inoculation of more 10,045 people with the
second dose of the jab today in the division.

   Among the 10,045 new second dose recipient citizens, 72 were inoculated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 9,973 others with Sinopharm Covid-19
vaccine today," Dr Islam said.

   "The total second dose recipient 17,13,403 citizens include 5,41,164
people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 10,67,619 people with
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,23,959 others with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine in
the division," Dr Islam added.
