PANCHAGARH Sept 4, 2024 (BSS) - A minor boy drowned in a pond at Chotchutia village under Tetulia upazila here this afternoon.

The boy was identified as Tanvir Hossein 10, son of Abul Kashem.

Quoting locals, police said Tanvir went missing when he along with his friends was taking bathe in the pond

After an extensive search, he was rescued from the pond in an unconscious state.

Family members rushed him to Tetulia health complex where attending doctor declared dead.
