RANGPUR, Sept 21, 2024 (BSS) - Sharadiya Durga Puja, one of the biggest 
religious festivals of the Hindus, will be celebrated at 835 puja mandaps in 
the district this year with due religious fervor and zeal.

District and Rangpur Metropolitan Police said the Sharadiya Durga 
Puja will be celebrated in 152 puja mandaps under 33 wards of Rangpur city. 

Outside the city, a total of 683 puja mandaps, both permanent and temporary, 
will be erected in eight upazilas of the district to celebrate the puja. 

Of them, 68 will be installed under Kotwali police station, 95 in Gangachara, 
47 in Taraganj, 123 in Badarganj, 106 in Mithapukur, 105 in Pirganj, 73 in 
Pirgacha and 66 puja mandaps in Kaunia.
