MEHERPUR, Sept 27, 2024 (BSS) - World Tourism Day-2024 was observed in the district today with the slogan "Tourism and Peace".

To mark the day, a rally paraded different streets in the district town this morning. Deputy Commissioner Sifat Mehnaj led the rally beginning from district Shilpakala academy.

Deputy Director of Local Govt Division Md Shamim Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Tanveer Hasan Ruman and Principal of Meherpur Technical Training center Arif Hossain Talukder, among others, were present in the rally.
