JASHORE, Sept 28, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion in a drive arrested two people with 7,800 pieces of yaba tablets from Nilganj area on the Jashore-Narail Road here last night.

The detainees were Sujon Islam Bhuiyan, 27, and Sujon Mollah, 40, residents of the district town.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite force intercepted a private car around 10.45 pm in the area and recovered the yaba tablets after searching the vehicle and arrested two people, said Squad Commander of RAB-6 Assistant Police Super Md Habibur Rahman.

They were handed over to Jashore Sadar Police Station. A case was filed against them under Narcotics Control Act with the police station.
