CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 28, 2024 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Madrasha intersection under Gomostapur upazila in the district this afternoon.

The deceased was Md Shahjahan Ali, 38, son of late Afsar Ali of Boro Hadinagar village under Shibganj upazila in the district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gomostapur thana Md Golam Kibria said the accident occurred when an auto-rickshaw collided head-on with Ali's motorcycle around 3.30pm, leaving him injured critically.
 
Ali succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital, the OC added.
