SYLHET, Oct 2, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today seized smuggled sugar and various items worth about TK 1.37 crore from different places in Sonatila and Protappur areas of Goainghat upazila of the district.

Sylhet BGB Battalion-48 Commander Lt. Col. Md Hafizur Rahman confirmed it.

He said BGB recovered 863 bags of sugar, 2,592 pieces of my care cream, 1,458 pieces of sun glasses, 59 sarees, and 766 pieces of face wash, 75 kilograms of tea leaves, 142 bottles of liquor and 3,800 kilograms of garlic from different places of the areas.
