KHULNA, Oct 5, 2024 (BSS) – A total of 72 vigilance teams, formed by BNP and its front organizations will watch all puja mandaps in the city during the Durga puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindus.

Besides, a puja monitoring cell has also been formed headed by the convener of the city unit of BNP advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona and general secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin.

The decision was taken  today in an special emergency meeting of the city unit BNP convening committee held at the party office in the city’s K D Ghosh Road area.
Convener of the BNP city unit advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona presided over the meeting while member secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin conducted it.

The meeting decided to complete the conference of the remaining ward units of BNP after October 15.

It also decided that all party men must remain alert,  so that opportunists group of Awami League can’t intrude in the well organized BNP and asked the party men that stern action will be taken against those BNP men who will build good relationship  with fascist Awami League.

Leaders of the convening committee, president and general secretaries of different wards of BNP, among others, addressed it.
