PANCHAGARH, Oct 5, 2024 (BSS) –A total of fifty puja mandaps of Panchagarh sadar upazila have been taken under the coverage of CCTV cameras to celebrate the biggest festival of the Sanatan Religion followers, Sharadiya Durga Puja, in an orderly and festive atmosphere.

Panchagarh sadar upazila administration provided these CCTV cameras.

On the occasion, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi officer (UNO) Md Zakir Hossein handed over the cameras among the Hindus as the chief guest today.

The UNO said the CCTV cameras have been installed at each Mandap by the Upazila Parishad to ensure that the festival is celebrated in a festive atmosphere in a more secured and peaceful manner.

He also said local administration will also make regular monitoring.

Upazila social affair officer Laila Arjuman and UP chairman in all ten unions were present during the distribution function.
