KISHOREGANJ, Oct 06, 2024 (BSS) - Joint forces in separate drives arrested four people from Bhairab upazila here.

Squad Commander ASP Md Shahidullah said on information joint forces conducted raids at different places in the upazila last night and arrested them, said a press release.

The detainees were identified as Mojibur Rahman, Masum Mia, 34, Mahmudul Hasan Reagan, 42 and Rafi Mia, 24. All of them are the residents of Bhairab upazila.

They were accused in three separate cases filed over attacks on people during the anti-discrimination student movement on July 19.

The detainees have been handed over to Bhairab police station.
