KHULNA, Oct 07, 2024 (BSS) – Leaders of Government Brajalal College unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) today demanded quick execution of the court verdict in BUET student Abrar Fahad murder case.

Leaders and activists of JCD brought out a silent procession and held a commemoration meeting on the college campus here today marking the 5th killing anniversary of Shaheed Abrar.

College unit convener Yasin Gazi presided over the meeting while JCD leaders Mehedi Hasan, Hasibur Rahman Shavon, Alamin Liton and Farhad Hossain spoke at the meeting, among others.

Yasin Gazi demanded quick implementation of the court verdict in Abrar murder case. He also declared Chhatra League persona-non-grata as a terrorist organization on the college campus.

BUET student Abrar Fahad was reportedly beaten to death by some students who belonged to Bangladesh Chhatra League, a front organization of Awami League, on October 7 in 2019.
