RANGPUR, Oct 11, 2024 (BSS) - Rangpur city unit of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad (BPUP) today distributed clothes among the Harijan community people as gifts on the occasion of Durga puja.

Leaders of the organisation distributed the clothes to 200 Harijan community people at a function held at Rangpur Dharmoshava Mandir premises here to assist them celebrate Durga puja.
 
Rangpur Divisional Organizing Secretary of Hindu, Buddhist, Christian Oikko Kallyan Parishad Debashish Sarkar Deb, General Secretary of Rangpur city unit of BPUP Advocate Prashant Kumar Roy, President of Rangpur Dharmoshava Mandir Bhabatosh Sarkar Bachchu, its General Secretary Khokan Sarkar and Member Sukhendra Roy and Sanaton community leader Associate Professor Dilip Chandra Ghosh were present on the occasion.
