CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 16, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged arms trader with a shotgun and one-round of bullet from Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila last night.

The arrested was Md Jalal, 48, of Bathanpara under Charbagdanga union of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila. 

RAB said, acting on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB conducted a raid on Bakherali village under Charbagdanga union of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila around 11 pm and arrested Jalal with the shotgun and the bullet.

Later, the elite force handed him over to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana.
