KURIGRAM, Oct 19, 2024 (BSS) - A man died from electrocution at Vatarpar village of Ulipur upazila in the district today.

The deceased was Abdur Razzak, 38, a resident of the village.

Police said Razzak came in contact with a live electric wire around 10 am while he was setting up a water pump in his pond. He was taken to Ulipur Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.

Al Helal, sub inspector of Ulipur Police Station, confirmed it and said an unnatural death case was filed in this regard.
