NARSINGDI, Oct 24, 2024 (BSS) - A man was killed and seven others injured in a collision between two buses in Shibpur Upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as Shah Alam, 56, who hailed from Habiganj district.

Highway police sources said the accident occurred around 3:15 pm at Syedpur on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway.

The injured were brought to Narsingdi District Hospital where Shah Alam was declared dead by the duty doctor.

Among the injured three were referred to Dhaka.

In charge of Etakhola Highway police camp Sohel Sarowar confirmed.
