KHULNA, Oct 27, 2024 (BSS) - The joint forces in a drive arrested two drug peddlers from Batiaghata upazila of the district last night.

On a tip-off, a team of joint forces conducted a drive last night in Baintala Bazar area of Batiaghata upazila and arrested drug peddler and kingpin of cheating syndicate Md Sahed Hossain, 30, and his associate Fuzzat Ali, 32, officer of West Zone Coast Guard Lieutenant Mahbub Hossain disclosed the matter in a press briefing held at the Khulna BCG headquarter in the city today.

The joint forces also recovered uniforms of army and police along with fake identity cards, 508 pieces of contraband yaba tablets, one kg hemp, 15 pieces of ban syrup, mobile phones and a huge lethal weapon from their possession, he said.
