KUSHTIA, Oct 27, 2024 (BSS) - The body of a schoolboy was recovered from the
Padma river under Doulatpur upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Shojib, 15, hailed from Philipnagar village under Doulatpur
upazila. He was a class nine student at Philipnagar High School.

The boy went missing in the river last noon when taking bathe with his
friends in Golabaria village area.
 
Station Officer of Bheramara Fire Service Shariful Islam said divers from
Khulna recovered his body from the river around 9 am.

Later, the schoolboy's body was handed over to his family and an unnatural
death (UD) case was filed in this regard, he added.
