RANGAMATI, Oct 27, 2027 (BSS) - Police in a drive arrested a man and his wife

with 9,785 pieces of yaba tablets from Manikchari Paurashava under Rangamati
sadar upazila of the district today.

The arrested were Md Wasim and his wife, residents of Riazuddin Bazar area in
Chattogram district.

Additional Police Super of the district Md Saiful Islam said, on information,
a team of the police detained the couple from a passenger bus after searching
it in Manikchari Check Post area around 11 am and seized the contraband
drugs.

A case was filed in this connection.
