MADARIPUR, Nov 1, 2024 (BSS) - A man died today as a poisonous snake bit him
at Jaigir village in Kalkini upazila of the district.

The deceased was Farhad Sikder, 38, hailed from the village.

Local people said the snake bit Farhad yesterday afternoon when he was
working at his house. He was brought to Kalkini Upazila Health Complex and
referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital later where he succumbed to his
injuries this morning.

Officer-in-Charge of Kalkini Thana Humayun Kabir confirmed.
