KHULNA, Nov 2, 2024(BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested

two women robbers from Faridpur district and seized gold ornaments and cash
money from them last night.

The arrested were Kohinur Begum, wife of Abdul Aziz, resident of Pirojpur
district and Sharina Sultana, wife of Abdul Zalil, hailed from Barguna
district.

Being informed, a team of the RAB-6 went on operation in Bhanga area of
Faridpur district last night and nabbed the women from a residence, an
official release said here this evening.

The elite force also seized 49 pieces of gold nose pin, five mobile phones
and Taka 1.33 lakh cash from their possession, the release added.

They were handed over to Daulatpur Police Station in Khulna today.
