JHALAKATHI, Nov 6, 2024 (BASS)-  A total of 20 thousand 366 girls were vaccinated in 799 educational institutions of four upazilas of the district till Wednesday under the HPV vaccination campaign.

Civil Surgeon Dr. HM Zahirul Islam said, there is a target of providing vaccine to 31 thousand 361 female students from Class five to Class-nine and one thousand 91 girls of non-academic background aged from 10 to 14 years.

This HPV campaign started from October 24 will continue till November 24.
