SAVAR, Nov 11, 2024 (BSS) - A youth was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in the Ulail Karnapara bus stand area at Savar, the outskirt of the capital, today.

However, the identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident occurred in the area when the unidentified vehicle hit the youth around 5am, leaving him dead on the spot, officer-in-charge (OC) of Savar Highway Police Station Saugatul Alam said.

Police recovered the body from the spot, OC said.

Police are working to identify the victim and the vehicle, the OC added.
