CHATTOGRAM, Nov 15, 2024 (BSS) - A woman died and a total of 25 people have been infected with dengue in Chattogram city and district during the last 24 hours.

Nasima Akter, 35, died of dengue while undergoing treatment at Chattogram Medical College Hospital.

Among 25 infected people, 22 people have been admitted to the city's government hospitals and three others admitted to different private hospitals.

According to Chattogram Civil Surgeon office, a total of 3562 people were admitted to hospitals in the city due to dengue this year.

 District Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam, at least 140 patients are currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals in the city. A total of 35 people died due to dengue this year.
