JHALAKATHI, Nov 16, 2024 (BSS) - Nalchity upazila administration in a drive evicted a total of 20 illegal structures on the Mallikpur to Surya Pasha road of the upazila here this afternoon.

The upazila administration conducted the eviction drive aiming to widen the width of the road from Mallikpur to Surya Pasha road of the upazila.

Nalchity Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Nazrul Islam led the drive.

Acting Chief Executive of the municipality Abul Hossain and local dignitaries, among others, were present during the operation.

The drive will continue, the UNO said.
