CHATTOGRAM, Nov 16, 2024 (BSS) - An elderly man died and a total of 17 people
have been infected with dengue in Chattogram city and district during last 24
hours.

According to Chattogram Civil Surgeon office, a total of 3,579 people were
admitted to hospitals in the city due to dengue in this year.

Monir Hossain,61, died of dengue while undergoing treatment at Chattogram
Medical College Hospital.

At least 141 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the
city. A total of 36 people died this year of the disease.

District Civil Surgeon Dr Jahangir Alam advised the residents to be aware of
the dengue following health guidelines.
