COX’S BAZAR, Nov 17, 2024(BSS)-The officer-in-charge (OC) of Cox’sBazar Sadar Fayzul Azim Noman has been withdrawn from the police station for his alleged involvement in taking bribe and collection of money from the innocent people by threatening to file cases against them.

The OC has been withdrawn after a  month and 28 days of his joining Sadar Thana following an order of the office of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG),  Chattogram range.

The OC has now been attached with the range office following the order, Muhammad Rahmat Ullah, Superintendant of Police (SP), Cox’s Bazar confirmed.

The OC joined the Sadar Thana on September 19 last.
