BHOLA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion in a drive arrested a

notorious dacoit from Kheyaghat area in Sadar upazila of the district today.

The arrested was Altaf Hossain Matbar alias Altu, hailed from Bappa Union
under Sadar upazila.

Camp Commander Lieutenant Md Shahriar Rifat of RAB-8 said on information a
team of the elite force conducted a raid at MV Bhola launch around 6 am and
nabbed Altu.

He was accused of numerous cases with different Thanas in Bhola, Lakshmipur
and Barishal districts, the RAB official added.

Later, the RAB team handed over Altu to Bhola Sadar Thana Police.
