SATKHIRA, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) – A view-exchange meeting on quality education was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's (DC) office in the district today.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mostaq Ahmed presided over the meeting while ddistrict unit convener  of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)  Advocate  Syed Iftekhar Ali,   district unit  Ameer of  Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami  Vice-Principal Shahidul Islam Mukul, its Secretary Maulana Azizur Rahman, Principal of Satkhira Government Women's College  Basudeb Basu, district Secondary Education Officer Abul Khair, district Primary Education Officer Hosne Yasmin Karimi, students of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Md. Nazmul Hossain and  Al Imran,  among  others, spoke at the meeting.

DC Mostaq Ahmed said teachers should play an important role in ensuring quality education for building a prosperous Bangladesh. Quality education is a important for building an educated nation, he added.

Education officers from different upazilas, leaders of teachers' associations, and teachers from different schools and colleges, among others, were present.
