BANDARBAN, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - Sewing machines were distributed among 18 distressed women in the district today.
 
On the occasion, Islamic Mission held a function at the hall room of Sualok High School this afternoon.
 
Md Abdullah Al Mashud of Islamic Mission chaired the function. Deputy Director of Bandarban Islamic Foundation Md Selim Uddin and Union Parishad Chairman Ukanu Marma, among others, were present.
 
Apart from the sewing machines, Tk 235,000 was handed over to 47 distressed women.
