Call to build discrimination-free Bangladesh being imbued with July uprising

PIROJPUR, Nov 19, 2024 (BSS) - Speakers at a view-exchange meeting today underscored the need for building a discrimination-free, youth-based, developed, prosperous and accountable Bangladesh being imbued with student-led July-August uprising.

They said the role of students in the mass uprising is undeniable as they played a leading role in the movement. So, students have to develop themselves as worthy citizens of the country by acquiring knowledge.

District information office arranged the meeting at the hall room of Aftab Uddin College.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Selim Hossain addressed the function as the chief guest with principal of Aftab Uddin College Sahadev Chandra Pal in the chair.

District Information Officer Md. Abdullah-al-Masud, District Primary Education Officer Md. Mostafa Kamal, and Joint General Secretary of Pirojpur Press Club Md. Ziaul Haque, among others, addressed the event.

Officials and employees of the district information office, among others, were present.
